Taxpayer-Service AI Assistants Are Expanding Beyond Q&A

A research group from the National Tax Service College in Dalian wrote in China Tax News that AI is helping taxpayer service move from passive response toward a closed loop of demand sensing, intelligent response, and precise delivery. The article reviews practice in 24/7 consultation, smart prefilling, return review, risk alerts, and targeted policy pushing, citing local examples that show AI entering consultation, filing, risk control, and policy-service workflows. The authors also stress that tax AI assistants need up-to-date knowledge bases, less fragmented data, stronger privacy protection, and better local-policy adaptation, while keeping human review and traceability. For AI tax tracking, it shows that tax AI assistants are evolving from chat tools into professional and controllable service infrastructure.
